Devotion For The Week of September 17 -23 2012

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS,

Today is Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 on Planet Earth.  Hope this is a better day for you all.  I was happy and blessed to see more connections from you in the USA and around the world.  Again, I trust that Jehovah God - the Great I Am - is with you all today.  He loves you and is very concerned about everything that touches your life (seen and unseen).

            MAY WE PRAY TOGETHER

Lord Jesus, we love You and we thank You for Who You are, our Creator and the Giver of life.  We thank You for loving us, for Your grace and for Your mercy that keeps us day after day.  Jesus, we repent of any sin in our life and we ask You, Lord Jesus, to forgive us and make us whole again that we may be in right standing with You and with our families and friends we love.  Your word teaches us to love one another.

Prepare us Lord until we meet on the other side or until You come.  Let us be in one accord.  Anoint this message.  May it go forth and souls be won into Your Kingdom, for Your Glory.  Thank You Lord and bless Your people.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Our devotion for today is taken from Gen.50:20.  What was meant for evil for Joseph, God turned it into good.  In the verse, Joseph said "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day, to save much people alive".

Jealousy is like a cancer.  It will eat at you until it destroys you completely.  It must be dealt with.  Jealousy comes in many different shapes; envy, suspicion, distrust, selfishness and, yes, even paranoia.

There is much that can lead to jealousy that is not always on the surface or that meets the eye.  For example, my son, my only son, I call him my baby though he's almost 42 years old.  But you need to understand Mommas!  I always thought when he would choose a wife that I would play an important part in his choice.  But that was the furthest thing from reality.

When he was 39, he introduced me to Sherry, I looked at her and it seemed like my heart fell to my feet, then I got mad.  I could not even speak.  All I could see was the color job on her hair and the glow of tattoos everywhere I could see and, wow, there was lots to see.  My son was a very handsome man.  I could not understand the taste he had developed in women.  He once dated  very pretty, petite young girls.  Later, one he fell in love with was bad news.  I knew it and told him so but he later found out the hard way.  But back to Sherryllynn. I found out my only child was not only living with her but she was 43 and pregnant.  My My My!

The Lord promised He would not put more on me than I could take But this - I thought this is it, I'm a goner!  I can't take no more.  This son I've loved more than my own life has pushed me too far this time.  I got ugly.  Regardless of my pain (physical, mental, etc.), there was no excuse for a child of God to respond to anybody the way I did.  I was hurt, embarrassed, ashamed, mad, resentful, and, yes, jealous.  I had these feelings because he chose her over me, his mother, and his best friend.  Who else did he need other than me and Jesus?  He has a son from another woman..  He is a wonderful grandson that I love so much.  He is a part of both of us and yes, even a part of his mother's best qualities.

Now I have two wonderful grandsons.  They are very different from each other.  The youngest looks like his mother's people.  He's so beautiful, filled with love and laughter and with lots of smiles and energy.  My relationship with my daughter-in-law, Sherryllynn, has become a diamond in the rough.  She is my friend and a daughter I never had.  She is now a child of God.  She gave her heart to Jesus in Dec. of 2011 and my son came to Jesus on Aug. 5, 2012.  My husband, myself and our family are covered by the blood of Christ Jesus.  We have a beautiful family in God through forgiveness and with much love and respect for each other.

Read the story of how Joseph was treated by his brothers because his father loved him.  The father loved them all.  They were jealous for no reason but God made Josephs life good!  Please don't let jealousy be a part of your life.  IT WILL DESTROY YOU!  IT'S A TRICK OF SATAN!  In the name of Jesus, rebuke the devil and he must flee!!

Carol P. is back home and in church.

God is a prayer answering God, always, but in His time.  Don't give up.  The answer is on the way.  Remember, Jesus is coming so prepare yourself.  Be ready!  Your redemption is drawing near.  Jesus is not just a way to get to God - He is THE only way to get into Heaven (John 3:16, 17).

John 3:16  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:17  "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;  but that the world through Him might be saved."

Looking Through the Eyes of Jeus,
                                                                                                                                     Ms June

Pray with me if you are a sinner or you want to re-commit your life to Jesus:

"Lord Jesus, I come just as I am.  You know me better than I know myself.  Search me God and know my heart.  I'm sorry for the sin in my life.  Help me Lord not to repeat these things again.  Sanctify me.  Cleanse me from inside out.  Make me like You.  Teach me, Lord, Your word.  Heal me Lord.  Allow me to be whole again to become what You would have me be in this time and in this place for Your Glory.   In the name of Jesus, Amen"
Praise God!  Thank You, Jesus.  Today is the first day of your new life with Jesus.  Start walking in the favor of God.  Be Blessed - Be Bold.  In His Name GO FORTH!
