Devotion For The Week of September 10th-16th 2012


September 11, 2012  It's Tuesday morning, 7:30am.  Looking for another beautiful day in Horry County in our State of South Carolina, on Planet Earth.

Good Morning Friends!

Thank you for checking in Local friends.  A Special Thanks to you all in Russia, Germany, France, United Kingdom and other parts of the world.  I'm so glad to know you are reading my devotions.  I trust God that you are gaining some strength and encouragement from them.  It is the intent.

May today be a special blessing to you all.  By the way, it is a blessing to me to know you are out there reading these devotions given to me from my Savior Jesus Christ.

Now Let's Get Into One:

Philippians 4:4.12 - Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again; Rejoice!".  v12  I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty.  I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or want.

Psalm 102:27 - But you (GOD) remain the same and your years will never end.



I am reminded often of what Paul is speaking of in these scriptures (Phil 4).  Have you ever been so without or so in need of something such as food, rest, clothes, bills paid, health, or special needs that it was really hard to find any joy?  I believe if we are honest, we have all been there!  Joy comes with maturity and spending much time with God.  He alone can give that kind of joy.  Paul says to Rejoice in the Lord - say it again, Rejoice!  To do this, we must focus on Him, reflect on what He has done in our life and in creation around us; the little things, the real things, such as the birds singing.  God created them for our pleasure.  The flowers that bloom, they're for us.  Rejoice!  The little children playing and even spatting with each other, we can find humor in them.  Again, I say, Rejoice!!  If we look, there is much to rejoice in the Lord about.  No matter how bad we think we have it, there are many, many other people that are so much worse off than we are.  Go into the nursing homes, the prisons, the orphanages and the mental hospitals.  Meet the people and hear their stories.  If you have any kind of heart you will leave there with a new attitude.  You may find you are Blessed and have something to Rejoice in the Lord about.

God is not a Respector of Person.  We all go through changes in life.  Sometimes in and sometimes out.  I understand what Paul was saying in verse 12 in Philippians.  I have had plenty and I have known in life when dark came.  I nor my baby son had a place to lay our head.  I have plenty to eat now but I have known what it felt like to feel a little hungry, but God always sent somebody along my path to meet my need for that time.  I am grateful for the ones God sent and I do Rejoice in the Lord.  I have learned to be content in whatever state of condition I am in.  I have been through many difficulties in my life; God kept me through them.  I learned many lessons from those difficulties.  I have no desire to repeat them, but I Thank God that He brought me through them all and I'm still in one piece and have a sound mind.  I can honestly say I'm the happiest, healthiest, most joyfully, most closest to God thank I've ever been!!!

My Strongest Desire is to Win Souls for Christ and help other Christians be closer to Him!!!

Jesus is the same Today - Yesterday - and Forever.

Be Ready - He's Coming Back Real Soon!!!  Sooner than the world is aware!!!

Don't allow yourself to become bored in life.  Pray, Talk to God.  There is so much we as Christians can do if we will only repent of ourselves and go to God.  Plead our case to Him about our life, our family, our church and yes, about our country.  We've almost gone to the dogs!!  Let's get a hold on the Word of God Christians - Take a Stand - Let's Together Take America Back!!!

If God be for us, who then be against us?  David asks this, "Is there not a cause?"  I believe there is.  Now is the time - Let's Rally Together for what is our Inheritance from God.  The land was founded on principles.  "In God We Trust".  It is on our monies.  May it always remain there!  We are in everything "To Trust God"!  He cannot fail.  We cannot lie!  He is Holy.  Put your trust in Him today!  Now it's the time to come to Him just as you are.  He loves you and knows your name.  Again, your name is printed in his hand.  He knew it before you learned it.  He is waiting on you.  He cares about everything that you have been going through.  If you have failed, let's start over again today and say, "Lord, it's me again.  I've messed up again.  Please forgive me.  Help me to be stronger.  Place in my heart and life, a great desire to seek you Lord, to put you first in my life, to have no other Gods before you.  For you are a jealous God.  I want to be your child.  Accept my prayer and teach me to be like you.  Thank You Jesus.  Today is the 1st of the rest of my life with you my Savior and Lord,  Jesus Christ; my Creator."
