Good Morning Friends,
Let's
first read Psalm's 139: 22 & 23. My very favorite verse. It helps
and keeps me close to God. (Prayer) 23/ Search me, O God, and know my
heart: try me, and know my thoughts; 24/ And see if there be any wicked
way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. KJV
This
is an appropriate prayer for every believer. Not only must we hate
unrighteousness in the world but we must also be aware that there may be
something in us that grieves God. We should be willing to ask God to
put us through any test that would further
HIS work of sanctification in us. If anything offensive is found, we
must turn from it in repentance.
Dr.
Charles Stanley writes in "In Touch"; Open your heart to the Lord and
ask HIM to reveal what you can do to keep moving forward. HE may want
you to give something up, or take something on. In any case, remember:
Obedience always brings blessings----------now and in eternity.
Also
in Psalms 139 v:17 talks about thoughts: How precious also are thy
thoughts unto me. How our God thinks about us. (His children)
We
may be comforted knowing that HE is continually aware of our needs,
trouble, and suffering and that HE plans for our care, forgiveness,
salvation and sanctification. HIS thoughts for us are unfathomable and
immeasurable. As the apostle Paul writes, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear
heard, neither have entered into the
heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love
him". (1 Cor 2:9)
By
all means - Seek HIM first. Pray, Love on HIM, spend time alone with
HIM, move forward and grow spiritually. Help others along the way. May
God bless you as you Bless others.
Looking Through the Eyes of Jesus,
